Alex Hill
The track title comes from the Ancient Greek word for dream, as it plunges the listener into a meditative and sleepy state. A ‘night dream’, or light in the darkness.
The track was written collaboratively and features Alex Hill on piano, Jamie Stockbridge on saxophone, James Girling on electric guitar, Alasdair Simpson on electric bass and Matt Brown on drums.

To extend the collaboration, the music was sent to four different artists who all painted or sketched a visual response to it.
Criss Roden and Richard Kankondo filmed the creation of their artwork using oil and acrylic paint, and the footage has been made into a music video. It was edited by Dominic Pillai, a film director who has had previous work screened at the Cannes Film Festival:
Alice Phelps drew a series of colourful mandalas:



And Suzie Richards (of Trikona Tattoos) created a unique tattoo design using symbolic floral elements:

Komorebi Catching
Alex Hill
Inspired by ‘komorebi’, a Japanese word used to describe the image of sunlight filtering through the leaves of a tree, creating a dappled, shimmering effect. A ‘day dream’, or shadow in the light.
The music was written collaboratively and features Alex Hill on piano, Caitlin LM on flute & vocals, James Girling on electric guitar, Jack Turnbull on electric bass and Matt Brown on drums.
